Lab
The index looks at the labor market from above, in five groups of occupations. The Lab looks at it from below: from the tasks in one job, and from the tasks a field of study leads to.
Occupations
The goal: a full picture of your own job.
Look up your occupation and see how exposed it is, task by task. You see how Claude is actually used on those tasks, whether the use replaces the work or assists it, which occupations are similar, and how employment and wages have moved since Claude Code arrived.

Education
The goal: show what a field of study leads to.
Pick a field and a level. You get the ten most common tasks in the jobs the education leads to, how exposed each task is to language models, how Claude is used on it, and the most common jobs.

The sources behind the tools
Tasks come from O*NET, the US occupational database, through the same crosswalk as the index. Exposure per task is Eloundou et al. (2024), with Mouchel et al. (2026) as the alternative. Claude use is the Anthropic Economic Index. Employment and wages come from the A-ordningen via microdata.no, and the link from education to occupation from utdanning.no. The tools are updated when their sources are, not monthly.
